I dedicate my artistic spirit and the growth of it, to all the WONDERFUL people who have come in and out of my life for "a reason or a season” and my extreme gratitude to those who are sticking it out (Trey).

I continue to be inspired by the loving memory of three of those wonderful people:
Dana (Tomlins) Starks, artist, art school friend, and roommate who lost her battle with ovarian cancer Aug. 2007, Karen Dunaitis (Blaise), artist, friend, and mother who lost her battle with breast cancer March 2007, and Hollis Williford, sculptor and friend. (Thank you Ronnie for the introduction!) I wanted to cry when I went to Hollis' art studio…for me it/he embodied the art spirit. I got goose bumps. Hollis lost his battle with complications from diabetes Jan. 2007.

Of course, I can’t do a tribute without mentioning my greatest supporters…my family! The crazy things I put you through…You encourage me to dream...Thanks Dad for teaching me how to draw, thanks Mom for teaching me how to write, and thanks Michele for inspiring me to excel. To all my family, friends, mentors,and supporters thanks for the safety net! You teach me how to fly.
